I can’t fly
In a crowded room, I wear a mask,
Smiles around me, but I can’t ask,
For a moment of truth, a glimpse of the light,
But shadows whisper, „You’re not right.“
I’m lost in a world that doesn’t see,
Trapped in a body that’s not me,
Every heartbeat feels like a lie,
Loneliness echoes, and I can’t fly.
Reflections stare back, but they don’t know,
The battles I fight, the tears that flow,
In the silence, I scream, but no one hears,
Drowning in doubts, surrounded by fears.
I’m lost in a world that doesn’t see,
Trapped in a body that’s not me,
Every heartbeat feels like a lie,
Loneliness echoes, and I can’t fly.
Searching for solace in a restless night,
Wishing for wings to take me to light,
But the weight of the world pulls me down,
In this masquerade, I’m forever bound.
I’m lost in a world that doesn’t see,
Trapped in a body that’s not me,
Every heartbeat feels like a lie,
Loneliness echoes, and I can’t fly.
So I’ll keep walking this empty road,
Carrying dreams that feel like a load,
In the silence, I’ll find my way,
Hoping for dawn to break this gray.
Without Counterfeiting
Since we have to choose
With sweet words, I can say it
Without counterfeiting, I am a girl
And for an empire, I don’t want to undress
Since without counterfeiting, I am a girl
All alone in my closet
With black circles around my eyes
Out of sight
I defy chance
In this world that has neither head nor tail
I only do as I please
A handkerchief tucked into my pants
Since we have to choose
With sweet words, I can say it
Without counterfeiting, I am a girl
And for an empire, I don’t want to undress
Since without counterfeiting, I am a girl
One after the other, they chase me away
From your Associations
I don’t allow anyone to threaten my resolutions
I don’t care what people say
I’m a chameleon
Watch out for my tin soldiers
They’re the ones who’ll kill you
Since you have to choose
With sweet words, I can say it
Without counterfeiting, I am a girl
And for an empire, I don’t want to undress
Since without counterfeiting, I am a girl
Since you have to choose
With sweet words, I can say it
Without counterfeiting, I am a girl
And for an empire, I don’t want to undress
Since without counterfeiting, I am a girl
Since you have to choose
